MAVOTEC Nitrox-Clean Filter with non-return valve (NRV)
In order to secure safe filling of the tanks, the MAVOTEC Nitrox-Clean filter should be used. The MAVOTEC Nitrox-Clean filter is necessary for receiving clean pressured air, in order to produce mixed gas (for example Nitrox, Trimix).
You will receive high quality pressured air at compressor stations, but however, a responsible diver will not fill his tanks at an unknown filling station, where he knows nothing about the quality of the gas, without using a MAVOTEC Nitrox-Clean filter.
Because once polluted, tanks can only be reused after a time-consuming and costly cleaning process.
The usage of the MAVOTEC filter can avoid the risks and the subsequent costs. According to the manufacturer, the EN 12021 specified quality of the compressed air (residual oil level of the compressed air up to 0.5 mg/m3) is not sufficient to top up the oxygen. Only by using the MAVOTEC Nitrox-Clean filter you will be able to produce the compressed air (compatible air) with a residual oil level of 0.05 mg/m3.
The MAVOTEC Nitrox-Clean filter is designed for use as a personal filter or a cleaning filter, to prepare clean and oil free pressured air. As a special feature the MAVOTEC Nitrox-Clean filter has an outlet with an integrated non-return valve with venting. Consequently, it is 100% guaranteed that whilst filling the tank, no gas can escape into the filter or the compressor.
