The OMS Spool (2nd Generation) is originally designed for line jumps while cave diving respectively for shooting a surface marker buoy (SMB).
The special feature of the OMS Spool (2nd Generation) - compared to conventional spools - is the redesigned core / center of the OMS spool. It is much smaller and this is the reason why the OMS spool holds more line.
