The OMS Utility Bag with Vertical Ballast System is a further development of the OMS Ballast System.
The OMS Utility bag with Vertical Ballast System is a combination of a utility bag and a weight pocket.
The problem with the use of a conventional weight pocket system is that there is usually no space left for mounting an additional pocket. If you do not have additional pockets on your dive suit, there is hardly no way to store additional equipment.
This problem is solved with the use of the OMS Utility bag with Vertical Ballast System. Here you get a weight pocket that additionally contains an integrated utility pocket. So you can safely stow, for example, the backup mask or buoy in this pocket.
